Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Mid-Level Maintenance Engineer to join our upcoming Corrugating roll manufacturing facility (Precise Steel Roll manufacturing). The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in installing, commissioning, and maintaining state-of-the-art machines. Additionally, they will collaborate with architects to design mechanical, electrical, and plumbing requirements, and as the production commences, lead a team for ongoing maintenance and expansion.

He shall be responsible for maintaining the entire facility, encompassing building systems, electrical infrastructure, mechanical equipment, and material handling systems. This role will also involve managing the licensing process for compliance certificates from government agencies. Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Lean Manufacturing principles is essential

Install and commission machinery, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to safety standards.

Collaborate with architects to design mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for optimal factory layout.

Oversee the construction phase, ensuring alignment with technical specifications and compliance with industry regulations.

Manage the licensing process for compliance certificates from government agencies.





Implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices to optimize equipment reliability and performance.

Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to streamline production processes and reduce waste.

Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to maximize machine efficiency and minimize downtime.

Maintain building systems, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing infrastructure.

Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance.

Troubleshoot and address technical issues promptly to maintain continuous production flow.

Train and mentor maintenance team members, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.

Coordinate with external vendors for spare parts procurement and equipment upgrades.

Stay abreast of industry trends, recommending technological advancements to enhance production processes.

Lead recruitment efforts to expand the maintenance team, ensuring the right talent aligns with the facility's goals.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production workflows and minimize disruptions.

Profile

Bachelors degree in mechanical or electrical Engineering or Mechatronics engineering or a related field with relevant experience of 8-10 years.

Proven experience in installing, commissioning, and maintaining industrial machinery, preferably Grinding, Metal forming machines.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.

Leadership experience, demonstrating the ability to build and manage a maintenance team.

Experience in managing the licensing process for compliance certificates from government agencies.

Familiarity with industry regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

Proficient in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.

Problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach to preventive maintenance.
