The candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging History lessons, supporting students' academic development, and contributing to the overall residential-school environment. Fresh postgraduates with a strong interest in teaching are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities - Plan and deliver effective History lessons for senior secondary students.

- Teach History concepts in accordance with the prescribed CBSE/EMRS curriculum, as applicable.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, worksheets, and assessments.
- Develop students' understanding of Indian, world, and contemporary historical developments.
- Use interactive and student-centred teaching methodologies.
- Conduct regular tests, evaluate answer scripts, and maintain academic records.
- Provide remedial support and individual attention to students who require additional academic assistance.
- Prepare students for board examinations and other academic assessments.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Participate in school examinations, meetings, workshops, co-curricular activities, and academic events.
- Maintain appropriate records of student performance and progress.
- As this is a residential school, support students in maintaining discipline, study routines, and a safe and positive campus workplace when assigned residential/supervisory duties.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers,



residential staff, and school administration.
- Perform other academic and school-related duties assigned by the Principal/competent authority.

Educational Qualifications - Master's Degree in History from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks (or as prescribed by the applicable recruitment rules).

- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification from a recognized institution.
- Candidates should have a strong command of History and good communication skills.
- CTET/TET qualification, where applicable, will be an added advantage or may be required as per the relevant rules.
- Proficiency in English and/or Hindi; knowledge of the local language will be an advantage.

Experience - 0–1 year of teaching experience. - Freshers with the required educational qualifications and a genuine interest in teaching are welcome to apply.

Previous experience teaching History at the secondary/senior secondary level will be an advantage.

Since EMRS is a residential school, the selected candidate may be required, as per the school's duty roster, to:
- Participate in student supervision and campus activities.
- Support students during designated study hours and school activities.
- Assist in maintaining a safe, disciplined, and supportive residential environment.
- Undertake assigned duties during school events, examinations, and other activities.
