About the Role

We are looking for a driven and technically adept Payment Gateway Merchant Onboarding Specialist to lead end-to-end deployment of our payment infrastructure. You will integrate payment gateways, set up and configure POS/teller devices, and own the full merchant onboarding journey - from first contact to go-live.

Key Responsibilities 1. Payment Gateway Integration Configuration

- Own end-to-end setup of payment gateway integrations (UPI, cards, BNPL, wallets) for merchants and enterprise clients
- Configure and manage MIDs, TIDs, acquiring bank routing, and settlement parameters
- Troubleshoot payment failures, reconciliation mismatches, and gateway downtime in real time
- Work with acquiring banks and card networks (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay) to resolve escalations

1. Teller Device POS Setup

- Deploy, configure, and commission POS terminals, Android smart POS, mPOS dongles, and EDC machines at merchant locations
- Perform device provisioning - firmware loading, payment application keys (DUKPT/Master-Session), and acquirer certificates
- Conduct on-site hardware health checks, connectivity testing (SIM/Wi-Fi/LAN), and transaction acceptance tests
- Manage device inventory - track asset movement, replacements, and field repairs
- Train merchant staff on device usage, settlement procedures, and basic troubleshooting

1. Merchant Customer Onboarding

- Drive KYC-compliant onboarding of new merchants - document collection, business verification,



compliance review
- Coordinate with compliance, risk, and banking teams to activate merchant accounts within SLA
- Conduct merchant education sessions covering transaction limits, chargeback handling, and fee structure
- Track onboarding funnel metrics and identify drop-off points to improve activation rates

1. Operations Reporting

- Maintain accurate records in CRM/ticketing for all installations, onboardings, and open issues
- Generate daily/weekly reports on deployment pipeline, device health, and onboarding SLA adherence
- Collaborate with sales, product, compliance, and tech teams for seamless merchant experience

Required Qualifications Mandatory: 2-6 years of direct, hands-on experience at one of: PhonePe, Paytm, Pine Labs, BharatPe, Razorpay, MSwipe, Ezetap, PayU, Innoviti, Worldline, or equivalent fintech/acquiring bank.

Technical: UPI/card acquiring/QR payments, POS TMS, device provisioning, gateway APIs, MID/TID management, PCI-DSS basics.

Soft Skills: Field execution, robust communication (English + Hindi/Telugu preferred), customer-first mindset.

Education: B.E./ B.Tech/BCA or equivalent. Fintech certifications a plus.
