Design and validate corrugated packaging solutions for automotive OEM clients. Work with CAD tools to develop custom crates, trays, and export packaging.
Responsibilities
- Design corrugated and wooden packaging using CAD/3D tools
- Conduct structural testing (BCT, ECT, drop tests) and document results
- Liaise with automotive clients (VW, Bajaj, MG) on packaging specifications
- Manage BOM and coordinate with production for prototype builds
- Ensure ISPM-15 and IATF 16949 compliance on all export packaging
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Packaging Technology
- 1-3 years experience in corrugated or wooden packaging design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or SolidWorks
- Knowledge of ISPM-15 phytosanitary standards is a plus
- Robust attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
