We are looking for an experienced Oracle Process Manufacturing (OPM) Consultant to lead the implementation, configuration, and support of Oracle's Process Manufacturing module (EBS or Fusion Cloud) across our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will bridge business processes in formula-based/batch manufacturing (e.g., food, pharma, chemicals) with Oracle's technical capabilities.

Role & responsibilities

- Implement, configure, and support Oracle Process Manufacturing (OPM) modules including Formula Management, Recipe & Routing, Production Scheduling, Quality Management, and Inventory/Costing within OPM.
- Gather business requirements from manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams and translate them into Oracle OPM solutions.
- Configure batch/process manufacturing workflows, including formulas, recipes, resources, routings, and process operations.
- Manage integration points between OPM and other Oracle modules (Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management, Cost Management, Quality).
- Support month-end/quarter-end costing processes specific to process manufacturing (actual costing, standard costing).
- Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and provide timely resolutions.
- Prepare functional specifications for custom reports, interfaces, conversions, and extensions (RICE components) related to OPM.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training, and documentation for end users.
- Collaborate with technical teams on any customizations, patches, and upgrades affecting OPM.




- Ensure compliance with quality/regulatory requirements where applicable (e.g., batch genealogy, lot control, expiry tracking).

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Process Manufacturing (OPM) EBS R12 and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud PM.
- Strong understanding of batch/process manufacturing concepts: formulas, recipes, routings, resources, co-products/by-products, yield, and potency.
- Experience with OPM Quality Management (specifications, sampling, quality tests).
- Working knowledge of Oracle Inventory, Cost Management, and Order Management as they relate to OPM.
- Experience in at least one full-cycle Oracle OPM implementation (design, build, test, deploy).
- Familiarity with SQL/PL-SQL for troubleshooting and data validation (preferred, not always required for pure functional roles).
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work directly with manufacturing/plant teams.
- Excellent communication skills able to work with both business and technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have

- Experience in regulated industries (pharma, food & beverage, chemicals, CPG).
- Exposure to Oracle Fusion Cloud Process Manufacturing (if role is Cloud-focused).
- Prior experience with regulatory/compliance modules (e.g., batch record management, FDA/GMP-aligned processes).
- Oracle certification(s) in Manufacturing/SCM Cloud or EBS.
