- The Optical Staff/Optical Sales Executive will assist patients in selecting suitable spectacles and ensure accurate, ethical and comfortable dispensing
- The candidate will understand the spectacle prescription, explain available frame and lens options in easy language and recommend products based on prescription requirements, lifestyle, comfort, budget and clinician guidance

- Responsibilities include frame selection, pupillary-distance and fitting measurements, order booking, billing coordination, job-card preparation and follow-up with the optical laboratory
- The executive will inspect completed spectacles for prescription accuracy, lens condition, alignment and finishing before delivery and will perform basic fitting and adjustments for the patient

- They will clearly explain product care, adaptation, warranty and delivery timelines and respond professionally to service concerns
- The role includes maintaining attractive displays, correct pricing, clean frames, stock records, inward and outward entries, reorder levels and periodic inventory reconciliation




- The candidate must avoid misleading claims or unnecessary upgrades and should maintain transparency in all sales transactions

- Coordination with optometrists, doctors, billing staff and vendors is essential to resolve prescription or production issues promptly

- Daily sales reports, pending-order trackers, collection follow-up and product-wise performance data may be required

- Candidates should possess strong customer-service and selling skills, numerical accuracy, product knowledge and a presentable personality

- Familiarity with progressive lenses, coatings, high-index lenses, sunglasses and childrens eyewear will be advantageous

- Experience with optical software or hospital billing systems is preferred
- The ideal candidate is patient, honest, target-aware and able to combine commercial performance with the hospitals commitment to appropriate, high-quality patient care
