Job Overview A reputed Multi-Speciality Hospital in Ankleshwar is looking for an experienced and dedicated OT Technician to join its Skin Bank / Operation Theatre team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in OT procedures, sterile techniques, infection control and surgical assistance. Candidates with exposure to skin bank operations, tissue handling, graft preparation or related procedures will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist surgeons and clinical teams during surgical and skin bank procedures.
- Prepare the OT, instruments, equipment and required materials before procedures.
- Maintain strict aseptic and sterile techniques throughout procedures.
- Assist with handling, preparation, preservation and storage of skin/tissue as per established protocols.
- Ensure proper identification, labelling, documentation and traceability of tissue/specimens.
- Follow hospital protocols for infection prevention, sterilisation and biomedical waste management.
- Check and maintain OT instruments, equipment and consumables.
- Ensure availability and readiness of surgical instruments and supplies.
- Assist with cleaning, disinfection and sterilisation of instruments and OT areas.
- Maintain accurate records related to procedures, equipment,



consumables and tissue handling.
- Coordinate effectively with surgeons, nurses, anaesthesia teams and other hospital departments.
- Follow patient-safety, quality-control and hospital compliance standards.
- Report any equipment malfunction, stock shortage or procedural discrepancy to the appropriate senior staff.

Eligibility & Requirements
- Diploma / B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) or equivalent qualification.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience as an OT Technician.
- Experience in a hospital / multi-speciality hospital is preferred.
- Exposure to Skin Bank, tissue bank, grafting procedures or related surgical procedures will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of OT protocols, sterilisation, infection control and surgical instruments.
- Understanding of aseptic techniques and safe handling of surgical materials.
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts as required.
