Key Responsibilities
Product Engineering & Technology Leadership
Define and drive technology roadmap for 2W, 3W and 4W switches and sensor products.
Lead end-to-end product development from concept to mass production.
Ensure robust product design aligned with customer requirements and industry standards.
Drive innovation, localization, cost reduction, and value engineering initiatives.
Evaluate emerging technologies and market trends in automotive electronics and sensors.
Design & Development Excellence
Lead Design Reviews and Engineering Governance processes.
Ensure effective implementation of
DFMEA
DFM (Design for Manufacturing)
DFA (Design for Assembly)
DFS (Design for Serviceability/Safety)
Review and approve design calculations, tolerance stack-up analysis, reliability assessments, and validation plans.
Ensure successful execution of APQP, PPAP, DVP&R;, and product validation activities.
Customer & OEM Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with OEM customers.
Act as key technical and business interface for strategic customers.
Lead customer design reviews, technical presentations, and project discussions.
Support business acquisition, RFQs, and new program nominations.
Ensure high customer satisfaction and timely closure of technical concerns.
Manufacturing & Operational Excellence
Drive manufacturing readiness for new product launches.
Ensure strong collaboration between Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Sales teams.
Improve productivity, quality, and cost competitiveness through Lean Manufacturing and TPS principles.

Educational Qualifications a) Qualifications
- Minimum Qualification required: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
- Master's Degree (Preferred).
- Automotive Tier-1 / OEM experience is highly preferred.
b) Work Experience
- Minimum 16 years of experience
- Hands-on experience in tech product development
- Experience in the auto-component manufacturing industry
- T-shaped experience (robust knowledge of one facet with a broad knowledge of other aspects of product engineering)
- Coaching experience
