A Software Skills Tutor/Instructor teaches individuals or small groups how to use specific software tools, programming languages, and digital platforms effectively.

- Curriculum Customization: Assess each learner's baseline proficiency and tailor project-based exercises to match their goals, whether that means exam prep, a career switch, or everyday workplace upskilling.
- ​Troubleshooting & Debugging: Walk students through technical hurdles, syntax errors, and interface confusion in real time.
- ​Progress Tracking: Review assignments, provide actionable feedback on code or project files, and track competency over time

​Key Requirements

- ​Technical Expertise: Advanced, practical mastery of the specific software or tool stack being taught.
- ​Communication & Patience: Ability to translate abstract or technical jargon into explicit, relatable steps for non-technical or beginner learners.
- ​Pedagogical Skill:



Experience structuring lesson plans, pacing content, and evaluating comprehension through practical tasks.
