Role & responsibilities

Product Development & Industrialization

- Lead end-to-end product development from RFQ to SOP.
- Drive feasibility analysis including DFM, DFA and cost optimization.
- Oversee tooling design, die development, jigs, fixtures and gauges.
- Ensure successful prototype development, validation and production readiness.
- Manage product lifecycle management and smooth transition to mass production.

1. Engineering & Process Development

• Define manufacturing processes for sheet metal and tubular fabricated components.
- Lead development of press shop, welding shop and fabrication processes.
- Drive process capability improvement, line balancing and cycle time optimization.
- Support robotic welding, progressive tooling and fixture development.

1. Customer Program Management

• Act as single point of contact for OEM customers for development activities.
- Lead customer milestones including APQP, PPAP, QAV and production ramp-up.
- Coordinate with customers for design approvals, trial builds and engineering changes.
- Manage customer reviews,



technical discussions and development timelines.

1. Cross Functional Leadership

• Work closely with Production, Quality, SCM, Tool Room and Maintenance teams.
- Lead Cross Functional Teams (CFT) for successful project execution.
- Ensure alignment on quality standards, manufacturing readiness and delivery commitments.
- Support supplier development and localization initiatives.

1. Quality Systems & Compliance

• Ensure strict compliance with IATF 16949 standards.
- Implement and monitor APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, SPC and Process Validation.
- Drive Poka-Yoke implementation and error-proofing systems.
- Lead capability studies and ensure smooth customer approvals.

1. Costing & Value Engineering

• Lead product costing, feasibility studies and RFQ submissions.
- Optimize material utilization, tooling cost and manufacturing processes.
- Drive value engineering and cost reduction initiatives.
