Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in Computer Science, hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure, setting up CI/CD pipelines, implementing monitoring and alerting systems, and maintaining uptime and reliability of production systems. This is a critical role in ensuring operational excellence in a 24x7 environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor infrastructure, applications, and services across multi-workplace deployments.
- Perform application and infrastructure deployments; troubleshoot issues and ensure high availability.
- Create, manage, and fine-tune alerting and monitoring systems to proactively respond to incidents.
- Automate day-to-day tasks using tools like Ansible, Groovy, and scripting languages.
- Manage and troubleshoot Docker and Kubernetes-based containerized environments.
- Handle system patching, configuration, and updates in line with security and compliance standards.
- Work closely with development and support teams to ensure seamless delivery and operations.
- Maintain observability using tools within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including Prometheus, Grafana, and other alerting tools.




- Provide operational support for PostgreSQL and MySQL databases.
- Maintain detailed logs of incidents, actions taken, and ensure timely communication/escalation.
- Participate in rotational 24x7 shifts to support production systems globally.

Qualifications

- Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and in a globally distributed team.
- Availability to work in a rotational shift (24x7), including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

- OCI certification or equivalent certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure and high-traffic environments.
