About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced NetSuite Functional Consultant with strong expertise in SuiteProjects, SuiteBuilder, CRM, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;). The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of business finance and NetSuite’s end-to-end functionality to deliver impactful solutions that enhance business efficiency and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Implementation & Consulting

Lead full-cycle NetSuite implementations, upgrades, and optimization projects.

Conduct business requirements gathering, process mapping, and functional gap analysis.

Configure and customize NetSuite modules, including Financials, SuiteProjects, and CRM, to align with business needs.

Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical documentation.

Collaborate closely with technical teams for solution design, integrations, and testing.

Deliver end-user training, create documentation, and provide post-implementation support.

SuiteProjects, SuiteBuilder, & CRM Expertise

Implement and optimize SuiteProjects for project accounting, resource allocation, timesheet management, and billing.

Utilize SuiteBuilder to design custom forms, fields, workflows, and records to improve system usability.

Configure CRM functionalities including lead management, prospect tracking, sales forecasting, and customer relationship workflows.

Ensure seamless cross-functional integration between CRM, Project Management, and Finance modules.





Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;)

Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes using NetSuite tools.

Build and maintain dashboards, custom reports, and KPIs for performance monitoring and business insights.

Partner with finance teams to design data-driven strategies and improve visibility into financial performance.

Integrate financial and operational data across modules to support strategic planning and analysis.

Process Optimization & Support

Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend NetSuite-driven automation solutions.

Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for NetSuite functionality and best practices.

Manage ongoing enhancements, release updates, and system configurations.

Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure smooth communication and solution delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Information Systems.

7+ years of proven experience as a NetSuite Functional Consultant.

Deep understanding of NetSuite ERP Financials, including General Ledger, AP/AR, Fixed Assets, Revenue Recognition, and Financial Reporting.

Hands-on expertise in SuiteProjects, SuiteBuilder, and CRM modules.

Strong experience with FP&A; processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling within NetSuite.

Proven ability to gather and document business requirements and translate them into system configurations.

Familiarity with NetSuite integrations (SuiteTalk, RESTlets, Celigo, Boomi, etc.) is a plus.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

NetSuite certifications such as ERP Consultant, SuiteFoundation, or Financial User are preferred.
