Role & Responsibilities

- Lead and manage all NDT activities across projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and customer requirements.

- Hold and utilize Level II certifications in RT, UT, MT, and PT for inspection planning, execution, and evaluation.

- Prepare, review, and obtain approvals for project-specific NDE/NDT procedures from Clients, AI, TPI, and relevant authorities.

- Ensure compliance with ASME, EN, PED, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements.

- Handle PED projects, including verification of MTCs, ISO certifications, and PED documentation.

- Develop job-specific NDT plans, assess project feasibility, and ensure timely execution of inspection activities.

- Maintain and control all NDE documentation, records, procedures, and certification documents.

- Coordinate and supervise RT, UT, MT, and PT activities with production and quality teams, including round-the-clock RT coverage when required.

- Review and approve sub-vendors' Written Practices, NDT procedures, personnel qualifications, and statutory compliance requirements.





- Maintain updated records of qualified NDT personnel and their certifications.

- Drive continuous improvement by introducing innovative NDT techniques for complex fabricated and welded assemblies.

- Monitor and control NDE budgets in line with project and business requirements.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

- Valid Level II certifications in RT, UT, MT, and PT (mandatory).

- 3+ years of experience in NDT, Quality Assurance, or Inspection functions.

- Solid knowledge of ASME Section V, ASME Section VIII, PED, EN standards, and ISO management systems.

- Hands-on experience in NDT procedure preparation, approvals, and documentation management.

- Proven experience in handling pressure vessel, heat exchanger, reactor, column, or other process equipment manufacturing projects.

- Strong coordination skills with Clients, TPI, AI, production, and quality teams.

- Preference will be given to candidates from Process Equipment Manufacturing companies.
