Job Summary

- As the Lead - ChassisArchitecture 2W, you will be responsible for delivering chassis systems for aProduct/Platform working in coordination with multiple design engineers acrosschassis functions. You will work with the guidance of section head chassisarchitecture, cross-functionally with design, engineering, testing, andmanufacturing teams to develop innovative solutions that enhance the structuralintegrity and overall riding experience.

Education Qualification

- BTech or MTech in MechanicalEngineering. Advanced Qualifications are an advantage.
- Any course or certification in project management

Required Experience

12 to 14 years in Automotive RD field. Experience in Chassis System Engineering, with a minimum of 8 years Chassis System Design development, Experience Leading Value EngineeringInitiatives.

- Internal - Design, Engineering, Testing, Manufacturing,Quality, Purchasing, Service, Production and Aftersales teams
- External - Suppliers

Role Description

- Lead the development of chassis systems across functional teams for a product / platform delivering New Products and /or addressing problems in current products.
- Define technical requirements and ensure designs meet performance, durability, weight and cost targets. Co-ordinate effectivelyto deploy mutually agreed QCD requirements on chassis systems, steer alignmentsand discussions within and between CoCs, Quality, Purchasing, Service, Production and Aftersales.
- Review test procedures and results (performance durability) and oversee the validation process.
- Ensure design reviews, DFMEA, Design Input Sheet,



DVP are completed in timely manner
- Mentor recent engineers for their career goals and objectives
- Lead Problem solving initiatives ValueEngineering initiatives on chassis systems across product life cycles.
- Ensure compliance with global safety and regulatorystandards.
- Manage supplier relationships for the project
