We are looking for an experienced MongoDB DBA with robust expertise in database administration, production support, performance tuning, replication, sharding, backup/recovery, monitoring, and troubleshooting of critical production environments.

The candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting MongoDB databases in high-availability and production environments, handling critical incidents, performance issues, database maintenance, and operational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer and support MongoDB databases in production environments.
- Strong experience working in MongoDB Sharding environments.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB Replication environments and high-availability configurations.
- Perform MongoDB performance tuning and optimization.
- Monitor MongoDB environments using tools such as Profiler, mongotop, mongostat, mongosync, and other monitoring utilities.
- Perform MongoDB backup and recovery activities.
- Hands-on experience with Ops Manager.
- Manage MongoDB logging mechanisms and journaling.
- Troubleshoot and resolve critical production database issues.
- Participate in and handle crisis calls / major production incidents.




- Perform database patching, upgrades, maintenance, and related operational activities.
- Analyze database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
- Support database availability, reliability, and operational stability.
- Work in a 24/7 rotational shift environment.
