should have very valuable scripting skills in either Shell / python

Technical Skills

Administration of Redhat AMQ & messaging platform (Linux).

Support the installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades of RedHat AMQ & HIVEMQ infrastructure

Security: Knowledge of security including encryption and TLS communication.

Knowledge of Pub/Sub concepts

System Performance: Knowledge of performance tuning of messaging systems to meet application requirements.

Operating system knowledge to include Linux

Experience with RedHat AMQ Platform components (Camel, Keycloak for MFA, Hawtio, jolokia) & Kafka

Automation experience using Ansible, or scripting (Python/Shell).

Knowledge of enterprise messaging platforms (IBM MQ, Kafka, HiveMQ) is a plus.

Development Tools/Languages:



Familiarity with tools like CP-Ansible, Java, and shell scripting

Observability tools using Prometheus / Grafana / Loginsight

RedHat AMQ – Responsibilities

Manage high‑performance messaging and integration solutions utilizing RedHat AMQ

Install and configure RedHat AMQ brokers on RHEL 9 Linux servers.

Install and configure brokers on RHEL 9 Linux and Windows Server platforms.

Perform AMQ patching, upgrades, and maintenance using Ansible automation.

Provide 24×7 hotline and on‑call support, including weekends and holidays.

Support broker testing, validation, and troubleshooting in collaboration with application teams.

Monitor messaging environment performance and perform tuning for optimal throughput and reliability.

Create and maintain application‑specific Grafana dashboards for messaging telemetry.

Collaborate with infrastructure, application, security, and architecture teams.

Independently execute special assignments and continuous improvement initiatives.

Address and remediate security vulnerabilities associated with vendor messaging products.

Manage SSL/TLS certificates and ensure timely renewal prior to expiry.

Maintain and support custom Java/MySQL‑based broker alerting solutions.
