Role Description This remote Mechanical Engineer Internship role focuses on supporting the design, analysis, and improvement of mechanical components and systems. On a day-to-day basis, the intern will assist in creating and refining CAD models, performing basic calculations, and preparing technical documentation.

The role includes contributing to research and development activities, gathering and analyzing data, and helping test or validate design concepts under the guidance of senior engineers. The intern will collaborate with project teams, attend virtual meetings, and support project management tasks such as tracking progress and updating reports.



This is an internship role designed to provide hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to professional engineering practices in a flexible remote setting.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering principles and an interest in applying them to real-world projects.
- Skills in Machine Design and ability to assist in designing mechanical components and assemblies.
- Proficiency with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating and modifying 2D/3D models.
- Ability to support Project Management activities such as organizing tasks, tracking milestones, and communicating status.
- Interest and aptitude in Research and Development (R&D;), including literature review, data collection, and experimental support.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate in a remote team environment.
- Basic understanding of engineering standards, safety considerations, and documentation practices.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time and tasks with minimal supervision.
- Experience with simulation or analysis tools (e.g., FEA, CFD) is beneficial but not required.
