Role Description This is a full-time, in office Mechanical Engineer role based in Kochi.

The Mechanical

Engineer will be responsible for designing and reviewing mechanical systems and components for industrial, commercial, and residential projects, ensuring alignment with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include performing mechanical calculations, developing and validating machine designs, preparing and updating CAD models and drawings, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical solutions within overall project designs. The role involves supporting project planning and execution,



assisting in cost and resource estimates, participating in site visits and inspections as needed, and contributing to research and development initiatives to improve design practices and technical solutions.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with the ability to apply core principles to industrial, commercial, and residential projects.
- Proficiency in Machine Design and experience developing, analyzing, and optimizing mechanical components and systems.
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 2D drafting and 3D modeling, and preparation of detailed engineering drawings.
- Project Management skills, including planning, coordination with cross-functional teams, tracking deliverables, and maintaining documentation.
- Exposure to Research and Development (R&D;), including investigating new technologies, materials, and design methods to enhance project outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards, and a strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and commitment to meeting project timelines.
- Prior experience in consulting or process-oriented technology projects is an advantage.
