Job Role: Mechanical Design Engineer (Ventilation Systems)

Experience: 5-8 Years

Location: Bangalore

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer Mechanical Design with strong expertise in structural design, mechanical enclosures, installations, and ventilation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop mechanical concepts, perform engineering calculations, and create detailed mechanical designs.
- Design mechanical structures, enclosures, electrical panel layouts, mounting arrangements, and installations.
- Develop 2D/3D CAD models, assemblies, weldments, detailed drawings, and BOMs using Creo.
- Design and develop ventilation components, frames, housings, silencers, ducts, and related assemblies.
- Apply knowledge of ventilation systems, thermal management, noise & vibration reduction.
- Support component localization, integration, prototyping, fabrication, and production activities.
- Apply GD&T;, ISO GPS, DFM/DFA, and tolerance stack-up principles.
- Prepare and maintain manufacturing documentation, assembly drawings, and engineering specifications.
- Use Teamcenter / Windchill or other PLM tools for design and product data management.




- Participate in design reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.
- Collaborate with internal and international stakeholders to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Follow defined engineering processes and deliver accurate, defect-free designs.

Required Skills:

- Robust fundamentals in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Design, and Engineering Calculations.
- Hands-on experience with Creo and 2D/3D mechanical design.
- Experience in ventilation systems/components, enclosures, installations, weldments, and assemblies.
- Knowledge of GD&T;, ISO GPS, DFM/DFA, and Tolerance Stack-up Analysis.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and welding techniques.
- Knowledge of thermal management, noise & vibration, and mechanical integration.
- Experience with Teamcenter / Windchill / PLM tools.
- Exposure to wire routing, harness design, and electromagnetic shielding is desirable.
- Experience working in an ISO-certified engineering/manufacturing environment is preferred.
