About the Department The corporate finance department in the company handles all the financial and investment decisions. It primarily focuses on maximizing shareholder value through long-term and short-term financial planning and the implementation of various strategies. It aims to maximize the value of a business through the planning and execution of resources.

The Role & Responsibilities

We are looking for a highly motivated Global Tax Controller to support tax compliance, reporting, and planning across multiple jurisdictions, including the US, Singapore, India, and the UK. The role involves working on direct, indirect, and federal taxation, ensuring regulatory compliance, assisting with audits, and supporting tax optimization strategies

Key Role Deliverables

▪ Ensuring compliance with direct, indirect, and federal tax regulations across US, UK and Singapore and closely work with the consultant

▪ Supporting the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial standalone financial closure and consolidation process for multiple entities (US GAAP, IFRS and Ind AS, IGAAP)

▪ Supporting GST/VAT, sales tax, withholding tax, and other indirect tax filings

▪ Tax optimization strategies to minimize global tax liabilities (US, Singapore, UAE, UK, India)





▪ Assisting in researching and analyzing tax implications of business operations and transactions

▪ Monitoring regulatory changes in US, Singapore, and UK tax laws and assess their impact

▪ Assisting in preparing and reviewing quarterly and annual tax provisions under US GAAP/IFRS/IND As

▪ Maintaining tax records and ensuring timely submission of required filings

▪ Supporting internal and external tax audits by preparing required documentation

▪ Assisting in managing tax disputes, assessments, and queries from tax authorities

▪ Identifying potential tax risks and assist in implementing mitigation strategies

▪ Assisting in ensuring compliance with transfer pricing regulations across jurisdictions

▪ Preparation of transfer pricing documentation and intercompany agreements

▪ Monitoring cross-border transactions to ensure alignment with global tax policies

Prerequisites

▪ Extremely strong fundamentals in accounting and IFRS, US GAAP, Ind AS (Must)

▪ Strong knowledge of direct tax Taxation including TP, Direct Tax, GST, International Tax

▪ Proficiency in tax compliance software and ERP systems (D365, Tally)

▪ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

▪ Prior experience in a Big 4 firm or multinational corporation is a plus

▪ Excellent multi-tasking skills

▪ Valuable written, communication and presentation skills

▪ Proactive and entrepreneurial traits; and a willingness to grow and learn on a daily basis

▪ Good interpersonal skills xperience

Min 5 years of experience (post qualification), Listed company or Big 4 experience

Education

CA, CMA, (Mandatory)

CS, MBA, ACCA, Diploma IFRS (Optional)

Compensation The compensation structure will be as per industry standards
