Role & responsibilities:

- Lead SCADA, PLC, Automation and FAT activities for WTG systems at the Bawal manufacturing plant and Pan-India wind project sites.

- Plan and execute FAT of WTG control systems, PLC panels, SCADA systems and associated electrical/control systems before dispatch and installation.

- Develop, review and validate PLC logic, HMI, SCADA screens, control sequences, alarms and interlocks.

- Handle integration of PLC, SCADA, sensors, instrumentation, control panels and communication systems with WTG control systems.

- Conduct functional testing, troubleshooting and performance validation at the manufacturing plant.

- Lead site-level installation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of SCADA, PLC and WTG control systems.

- Troubleshoot PLC logic, SCADA communication, sensors, instrumentation, alarms, interlocks and control-system issues.

- Coordinate with Design, Electrical, Mechanical, Production, Quality, Project and Service teams for testing and commissioning.

- Coordinate with OEMs, automation vendors, customers and site teams for technical issues and system integration.

- Prepare and maintain FAT/SAT protocols, test reports, commissioning reports and technical documentation.

- Support WTG commissioning, grid integration and SCADA communication/data acquisition requirements.

- Close testing observations, NCRs,



punch points and commissioning-related technical issues.

- Develop FAT, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting procedures and train engineers/technicians.

- Travel to Pan-India wind project sites as required.

Preferred candidate profile

- 10-20 years of relevant experience in SCADA, PLC, Automation, FAT, Testing and Commissioning.

- Wind Energy / WTG experience is mandatory.

- Strong experience in WTG control systems, PLC programming, SCADA, HMI and automation.

- Experience in both WTG manufacturing plant testing and wind project site commissioning will be preferred.

- Hands-on experience in PLC logic, SCADA integration, control panels, sensors, instrumentation, alarms, interlocks and industrial communication.

- Experience in FAT/SAT, WTG testing, commissioning and site troubleshooting.

- Good understanding of WTG electrical/control systems and communication protocols such as Modbus/OPC.

- Experience in coordinating with OEMs, vendors and cross-functional engineering/project teams.

- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or Automation Engineering.

- Robust troubleshooting, analytical and team-management skills.

- Willingness to travel Pan-India for wind project/site requirements.
