ROLE PURPOSE

The Manager / Sr. Manager, Packaging Development (Commercial) is accountable for end-to-end packaging execution across the commercial product lifecycle. The role owns on-time, quality-compliant launch of approximately current products annually in the US market, drives artwork changes aligned with evolving regulatory requirements, and delivers measurable cost savings aSupport range extensions into emerging markets with packaging solutions that meet local regulatory requirements, with no milestone delays from packaging.nd operational efficiency gains — all while serving as the critical packaging interface between R&D;, Regulatory, Commercial, and Plant Operations.

- Deliver ≥20 US product launches annually — on-time, within quality parameters, and with zero regulatory deficiencies attributed to packaging.
- Execute artwork updates for regulatory changes (label revisions, new requirements) with zero line stoppages caused by artwork non-compliance.
- Achieve year-on-year packaging cost reduction of through AVD, material optimisation,



operational excellenece intiatives and supplier rationalisation.
- Support range extensions into emerging markets with packaging solutions that meet local regulatory requirements, with no milestone delays from packaging.
- Ensure zero critical packaging failures (OOS, stability failures, transport damage) across oral solids, liquids, nasal sprays, and drug-device combination products.
- Complete technology transfers to plant packaging operations within agreed timelines with full documentation (BOM, BPR, specifications) ready before exhibit/commercial batch.
- Drive operational efficiency improvements on packing lines, reducing rework and changeover time by implementing packaging simplification and machinability improvements.
- Build and develop a packaging team of 3–4 professionals who independently manage assigned dosage forms and markets with minimal escalation

ADDITIONAL NOTES

•Willingness to travel to plant locations across India as required by project priorities.

•All activities must comply with current GMP requirements, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.

•The role requires operating effectively in a fast-paced, multi-project environment; managing competing deadlines is a core expectation, not an exception.
