Manager Raw Material Procurement

Qualification &

- Experience

- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in relevant discipline.

- Strong Nutraceutical RM knowledge is mandatory.

- Hands-on experience in domestic & import procurement, import documentation and clearance.

- Experience in managing 150180 Cr annual RM spend across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement of domestic and imported RMs for 17 locations.

- Review indents against stock, consumption, production requirements and inventory levels.

- Float enquiries to approved vendors, conduct cost comparisons and negotiate competitive prices.

- Ensure timely PO placement, supply follow-up and delivery at respective locations.

- Manage RM rejections, replacements and vendor closures.

- Coordinate with CHA/customs agents for import clearance and maintain import documentation.

- Track RoDTEP records and imported RM landed costs.

- Coordinate with QA/QC, RA, R&D;, PPIC, Finance,



Stores and Logistics for RM-related requirements.

- Review monthly inventory and identify excess, non-moving, slow-moving and shortage risks.

- Prepare monthly RM Procurement MIS covering spend, savings, inventory and open orders.

- Ensure ERP/P2P system hygiene, approvals, documentation and audit compliance.

- Manage vendor meetings, negotiations and alternate vendor development.

- Visit FSSAI, DGFT, Customs or other authorities/agencies, as required.
