Responsibilities-

- Review pending indent on daily basis, float enquiries, obtain offers, technical discussions & approvals, commercial comparison, negotiation, approval, order placement, delivery follow-up, transportation, material receipt, payment, rejection handling and coordination with internal as well as external stake holders.
- Strategy and planning:

Develop and implement purchasing strategies and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Supplier management:

Identify, evaluate, and select vendors. Build and maintain robust relationships with suppliers and oversee their performance.
- Negotiation:

Negotiate prices, commercial terms, and service level agreements to achieve the most advantageous outcomes for the company.
- Budgeting and cost control:

Manage purchasing budgets, track expenditures, and ensure that procurement activities stay within financial constraints.
- Procurement operations:

Process purchase orders,



ensure timely delivery of goods, and maintain accurate records of all procurement activities.
- Quality assurance:

Ensure that procured items and services meet the required quality standards and address any problems that may arise.
- Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments, such as inventory management, to forecast supply needs and ensure the supply chain runs smoothly.
