Role Overview The Manager, Finance Services Center (India) leads CDM Smith's Global Finance Shared Services organization, delivering scalable, client-focused financial services across North America, Europe, Australia, and the Middle East. The role provides strategic and operational leadership for a team of 70+ professionals supporting Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Record-to-Report (R2R), FP&A;, Payroll, Treasury, Tax, Procurement, and related finance functions.

The position is responsible for driving operational excellence, process standardization, governance, stakeholder engagement, and digital transformation initiatives, while leveraging automation and analytics to improve efficiency, scalability, and service quality across the global finance organization.

The role partners closely with Finance leadership, India leadership, and global stakeholders to support business objectives, strengthen controls, optimize costs, and continue the evolution of CDM Smith's Finance Service Center.

Key Purpose To provide strategic and operational leadership for CDM Smith's Finance Service Center, ensuring efficient, compliant, technology-enabled, and customer-focused delivery of global finance services while driving continuous improvement, talent development, and long-term organizational growth

Key Responsibilities

Finance Service Center Leadership

- Lead the overall Finance Service Center (FSC) operations supporting global finance functions across North America, Europe, Australia, and the Middle East.
- Provide leadership and direction to a team of 70+ finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Serve as a member of the India Leadership Team, representing the Finance Service Center in leadership forums, strategic initiatives, organizational communications, and business planning activities.
- Lead and participate in town halls, leadership meetings, employee engagement programs, and organizational events, acting as an ambassador for the FSC and promoting its achievements, capabilities, and value to the organization.




- Partner with India and global leadership teams to strengthen employee engagement, foster an inclusive workplace culture, support talent development, and drive organizational effectiveness.
- Support office leadership activities, corporate visits, social committee initiatives, community engagement programs, and cross-functional collaboration across the India organization.
- Partner with Finance leadership and business stakeholders to align FSC priorities with organizational objectives and business needs.
- Support workforce planning, organizational growth, succession planning, and talent development initiatives across the FSC.

Service Delivery & Operational Excellence

- Ensure effective delivery of Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Record-to-Report (R2R), FP&A;, Payroll, Treasury, Tax, Procurement, Contract Management, and IT Asset Management services.
- Drive process standardization, efficiency improvements, and best practices across all finance workstreams.
- Establish, monitor, and continuously improve KPIs, SLAs, quality measures, and operational performance metrics.
- Lead process transitions, knowledge transfer activities, and service expansions into the FSC while ensuring business continuity.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

- Maintain a strong control workplace through compliance with company policies, financial controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to address risks, resolve issues, and support governance initiatives.
- Ensure timely execution of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end deliverables while maintaining service quality and compliance.

Digital Transformation & Continuous Improvement





- Champion automation, analytics, AI, Copilot, Power BI, Power Automate, and other digital solutions to improve efficiency and enhance service delivery.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve controls, and increase scalability across global finance operations.
- Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement through technology adoption and employee upskilling.

Stakeholder Management

- Act as a trusted partner to global Finance leaders and business stakeholders, providing operational insights, issue resolution, and decision support.
- Communicate performance, risks, improvement opportunities, and strategic initiatives to senior leadership.
- Build strong relationships across regions and functions to enhance collaboration and service excellence.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- Proven experience leading Finance Shared Services, Global Capability Centers (GCCs), or Finance Operations organizations.
- Strong leadership experience managing large, diverse teams and multiple finance functions.
- Expertise in operational excellence, process improvement, governance, compliance, and stakeholder management.
- Experience leading finance transitions, service expansion, and organizational growth initiatives.
- Strong digital mindset with experience leveraging automation, analytics, and AI solutions.
- Excellent communication, people leadership, and business partnering skills
