Job Responsibilities :

- Perform chemical analysis and testing of raw materials, in-process materials and finished products.
- Conduct routine QC tests as per approved SOPs and specifications.
- Perform analysis such as pH, moisture, assay, viscosity, titration, protein/collagen-related parameters, and other applicable tests.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as pH meter, analytical balance, moisture analyzer, UV-Vis, HPLC, etc., as applicable.
- Prepare and standardize reagents, solutions and chemicals required for analysis.
- Maintain proper COA, test reports, worksheets, logbooks and laboratory records.
- Ensure testing is performed accurately and within specified timelines.
- Follow GMP, GLP, SOP and laboratory safety procedures.
- Identify and report OOS/OOT results, deviations and abnormal observations.
- Assist in OOS investigation, root-cause analysis and CAPA activities.
- Maintain calibration and daily-use records of laboratory instruments.
- Ensure proper handling, labeling, storage and disposal of samples and chemicals.
- Coordinate with QA, Production and R&D; for quality-related activities.




- Maintain laboratory cleanliness, safety and good documentation practices.
- Support internal, customer and regulatory audits when required.

Qualification

- B.Sc. / M.Sc. Chemistry preferred.
- Candidates with B.Sc./M.Sc. Analytical Chemistry will be preferred.

Experience

- Freshers, B.Sc./M.Sc. Chemistry candidates with valuable laboratory knowledge are welcome.
- Experienced: 1–3+ years of experience in QC Chemistry / Pharma / Nutraceutical / Food / Chemical / Manufacturing industries preferred

- Good knowledge of chemical analysis and laboratory techniques.
- Knowledge of GMP, GLP and SOP documentation.
- Basic knowledge of analytical instruments.
- Good observation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
