Logistics Supervisor

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Logistics Supervisor to manage day-to-day logistics, dispatch, packaging, inventory, and team coordination. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational and communication skills and be able to manage operations efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage packaging and dispatch operations and ensure orders are processed on time.
- Coordinate and control complete order cycles, from order processing to delivery.
- Monitor delivery timelines and transportation costs and ensure efficient operations.
- Plan and coordinate vehicle routes for timely and cost-effective deliveries.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels and coordinate with relevant teams for replenishment.
- Prepare and maintain daily/weekly logistics and inventory reports.
- Handle internal communication with operations, warehouse, sales, and other teams.
- Manage logistics staff and prepare staff rotas/shifts according to operational requirements.
- Hire, train, and guide logistics/warehouse staff when required.
- Monitor the quality and efficiency of logistics processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement and maintain health and safety procedures across logistics operations.




- Coordinate with customers and suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and operational requirements.
- Negotiate with transporters and suppliers to obtain optimum rates and service terms.
- Ensure proper documentation and smooth coordination of all dispatch and delivery activities.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, dispatch, or supply chain operations.
- Good knowledge of packaging, dispatch, inventory, and delivery operations.
- Solid team management and coordination skills.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to prepare and maintain operational reports.
- Good problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
