About the Role

We are looking for a Logistics & Fleet Coordinator who can take ownership of dispatch execution, fleet coordination, freight cost control and end-to-end shipment visibility.

The role will be responsible for converting confirmed dispatch plans into timely, cost-effective and digitally visible deliveries through effective vehicle planning, transporter coordination, plant coordination, exception management and data-driven control.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare daily vehicle and loading plans based on confirmed orders, routes, capacity and delivery commitments.
- Coordinate with transporters for timely vehicle placement and negotiate freight within approved rates.
- Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Quality, Security and Sales teams to ensure dispatch readiness.
- Monitor vehicle reporting, loading, weighment, documentation and gate-out activities.
- Track every shipment from vehicle placement to delivery through GPS/status/ETA.
- Proactively identify dispatch and delivery risks and escalate before SLA breach.
- Monitor freight cost through ₹/MT, ₹/KM, route and transporter-wise analysis.
- Maintain accurate dispatch, freight, GPS, POD and transporter data in the approved system/dashboard.
- Ensure timely POD collection and closure of delivery-related issues.
- Monitor transporter and vehicle performance and recommend corrective actions.
- Handle exceptions such as delays, breakdowns, documentation issues, rejected stock, shortage and invoice mismatches.




- Ensure vehicle hygiene, cleanliness, covering and loading practices comply with food-safety requirements.
- Support incident reporting, insurance documentation and claim follow-up wherever required.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly logistics MIS and highlight actionable exceptions.

Key KPIs

✅ Dispatch TAT – Target within 48 hours with ≥95% adherence

✅ 100% dispatched loads with vehicle/GPS/status/ETA visibility

✅ Freight within approved rate/budget

✅ POD closure within 48 hours of delivery

✅ 100% pre-loading vehicle and compliance checks

✅ Weekly transporter and fleet performance review

✅ Daily dispatch control MIS and exception tracking

What We’re Looking For

- 2–5 years of experience in logistics, fleet coordination or dispatch operations
- Strong knowledge of FTL/LTL operations
- Good understanding of freight rates, route planning and transporter management
- Strong MS Excel and MIS reporting skills
- Experience with digital logistics/GPS/ERP systems will be an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Excellent cross-functional coordination and communication skills
- Ability to take ownership and close operational exceptions
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced plant/logistics workplace
