Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Linux Administrator with around 3 years of experience to manage, maintain, and support Linux-based infrastructure in production environments. The candidate should have hands-on experience in system administration, troubleshooting, security, monitoring, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux servers RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability.
- Perform OS updates, patching, and security hardening.
- Manage users, groups, permissions, and access controls.
- Troubleshoot system, application, and network-related issues.
- Configure and manage Tomcat, Apache, Nginx, SSH, and Java services.
- Handle backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.
- Perform log monitoring and analysis using syslog and journald.
- Support automation using Bash/Shell scripting.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Network, and Security teams.




- Maintain system configuration and operational documentation.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Linux OS – RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu.
- Good understanding of file systems, permissions, processes, and system administration.
- Experience with YUM, DNF, and APT package management.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, and basic networking concepts.
- Experience with Bash/Shell scripting.
- Knowledge of security best practices and firewall configuration.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Nagios and Zabbix.
- Basic exposure to AWS/Azure is an advantage.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with VMware/KVM virtualization.
- Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes.
- Experience supporting production environments.
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery processes.

Soft Skills
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Willingness to work in 247 rotational shifts.
