Role Overview:

As a Lead Piping Design Engineer , you will take ownership of piping design activities across pharmaceutical and life sciences projects.

You will work at the intersection of engineering design, GMP requirements, multidisciplinary coordination and project execution — translating project requirements into practical, compliant and technically sound piping solutions.

What you will be responsible for:

- Lead piping design activities across Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences projects.
- Develop and review Piping GA, Isometric, Pipe Support, Plot Plan and Underground Utility drawings.
- Work extensively on Clean Utilities, Black Utilities, Process Equipment and Plant Layouts.
- Prepare and review P&IDs;, line lists, valve lists, piping specifications and MTOs.
- Develop piping routes considering GMP, accessibility, maintainability, safety and constructability.
- Coordinate closely with Process, Mechanical, HVAC, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, Structural and Architectural teams.
- Review vendor drawings and incorporate equipment connection requirements into piping layouts.
- Apply relevant ASME, ANSI,



IS, ASTM, API and other applicable standards.
- Participate in design reviews, client discussions and multidisciplinary engineering meetings.
- Guide junior engineers and contribute to strengthening technical standards within the team.
- Take ownership of engineering deliverables while ensuring quality, accuracy and project timelines.

- Solid Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences project experience
- Hands-on exposure to Clean & Black Utility systems
- Strong understanding of hygienic piping and GMP requirements
- Experience with Process Equipment and Plant Layout
- Understanding of piping flexibility and stress considerations
- Strong multidisciplinary coordination experience
- The ability to take ownership of complex engineering deliverables
- A practical, problem-solving and execution-oriented approach
