Product Documentation (Generation & release of Bills of Material (BOM) for recent products/ variants & Generation & release of Design Modification Notes (DMN) for various changes.)

Role & responsibilities

- Person shall have the ability to understand Product Release Request, Design Change Request, prepare plan for release of Product Release Note (PRN)/Design Modification Note (DMN)
- Lead a team of Engineers /Supervisors & communicate to the team member as per requirement for execution of design/drawings
- Provide technical solutions to the team & train the members for skill up-gradation.
- Ensure that planned job rotation is done among the engineers / Supervisors in group for the multi skilling & skill up-gradation.
- Cross functional collaboration- work with design, ADD, production & planning teams to identify, analyses & resolve issues related to BOM/DMN




- Manage day -to-day functioning of R&D-; Product Documentation of creating & releasing of documents, resource allocation & ensuring quality output within timeline.
- Execute, upgrade & plan infrastructure capabilities.
- Person shall be good planner of Documents releasing
- Person shall have hands on experience in creation & updation of BOM/DMN in SAP & PLM.
- Person shall prepare documentation as per ISO & EOHS audit requirement
- Ability to handle people
- Person shall very good communication skill to deal with internal and external customer in organization.

Preferred candidate profile BE / Masters in Mechanical / Automobile

15 + Experience in R&D-; Product Documentation in Automobile industry.
