- Maintain the general ledger for each entity to a complete and accurate month-end close in line with the group close calendar.
- Process and record accounts payable transactions for the holding entities (accounting, legal, tax and advisor invoices), ensuring correct coding, approval and payment timing.

- Act as Blackline “preparer” for all seven entities: load reconciliations and supporting documentation, certify accounts within the Blackline deadlines, and respond promptly to reviewer queries and rejections.
- Identify, explain and age reconciling items; propose and,
where authorised, post correcting entries so that reconciliations are clean and supported.
- Maintain reconciliation templates and supporting schedules (e.g. investments in subsidiaries, intercompany loans and interest, accruals, VAT/withholding tax balances).
3. Local accounts review and Hyperion load – SG Turkey SOAS, SG International Greece SMPC.

- Review the files for completeness, accuracy and consistency with prior months and with Oracle; challenge the external accountants on errors or omissions.
- Prepare and document small US GAAP adjustments (e.g. reclassifications, accrual true-ups, FX) and populate the standard local-account Excel template.
- Load the US GAAP data into Hyperion (HFM) each month within the consolidation timetable, resolve validation errors and ensure the submission ties to the reviewed file.
- Maintain a clear audit trail from the external accountants’ file through the adjustments to the Hyperion submission.
4. Recurring reporting and master data
- Prepare the regular monthly and quarterly information files for ILS (e.g. accounting fees, advisor fees, professional fees and other recurring analyses) accurately and to deadline.
- Maintain the A/P Master File for the entities in scope: vendor details, contract and fee schedules, invoice tracking, payment status and accrual support.
- Provide supporting schedules and analysis for the quarterly review, year-end audit and local statutory audits, and respond to auditor requests.
- Support local statutory filings and tax compliance for the entities by supplying reconciled data to the external accountants and advisors.
5. Process and controls
- Follow the group close calendar, SOX controls and accounting policies; ensure evidence of review and approval is retained.
- Document and keep current the desktop procedures for each entity and activity performed from India.
- Identify and propose standardisation and automation opportunities across the entity portfolio (Excel templates, Blackline matching rules, Oracle journal templates).
