Summary:

UST is looking for Mid-Level Java Engineer

Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer / Technical Lead to join our team and work closely with US-based clients on healthcare technology initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development experience, cloud exposure, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and support scalable backend applications and APIs.
- Work directly with US clients to gather requirements, provide technical solutions, and support delivery activities.
- Develop and maintain healthcare interoperability solutions using HAPI FHIR.
- Build and manage cloud-based solutions on AWS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architecture, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and production support activities.
- Ensure adherence to security, coding, and operational best practices. Required Skills
- Strong experience in Java development
- Hands-on experience with AWS services
- Experience with HAPI FHIR / FHIR-based integrations
- Strong knowledge of Linux environments
- Experience with Python
- Strong understanding of Databricks/PostgreSQL
- Good communication skills with the ability to work directly with US clients
- Ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion Good to Have
- Experience in US Healthcare domain
- Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards and APIs




- Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery models
- Experience supporting production applications and cloud modernization initiatives Preferred Experience
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience
- Experience working in onsite-offshore collaboration models
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
