Role: Java Application Support Engineer

Experience: 5-9 Years

Location: Noida, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Kochi

Required Technical Skills:

- 5+ years of experience in application/support engineering in Java-based enterprise applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
- Experience supporting microservices-based applications and REST APIs.
- Strong SQL/MySQL knowledge, including data investigation, troubleshooting, and query optimization.
- Experience with UNIX/Linux commands and troubleshooting scripts.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized application environments.
- Experience with application logs and monitoring/APM tools such as Splunk, Instana, Dynatrace, or equivalent.
- Experience in incident, problem, change, and release management.
- Experience performing pre- and post-deployment/application validation.
- Strong experience in RCA and problem management.
- Experience working with development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams.




- Ability to understand business processes and translate business issues into technical problems.
- Experience working with JIRA, ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar IT service-management platforms.
- Robust understanding of SLA-based support and priority management.
- Experience creating support documentation, SOPs, knowledge articles, and incident resolution procedures.
- Willingness and flexibility to work in a 24x7 support environment, including rotational shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call support.
- Knowledge of Kafka/RabbitMQ or other messaging technologies.
- Understanding of API/EDI integrations with carriers, third-party logistics providers, or external systems.
- Exposure to AWS/Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with automation, scripting, or small application/configuration enhancements.

Preferred / Domain Skills:

- Experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse management, transportation management, or e-commerce fulfillment.
