Title: IT Project Manager – Legacy LIMS Decommissioning & SampleManager Transition

: Key Responsibilities

Legacy LIMS Decommissioning & Global Transition

- Lead the coordinated retirement of legacy LIMS platforms, including SQL*LIMS, QDIS, SLIM, and older SampleManager versions.
- Develop and manage site-by-site transition plans and sequencing to migrate sites to the global SampleManager workplace.
- Own data migration, archival, and retention strategies for legacy platforms.
- Ensure data migration and archival activities meet completeness, integrity, compliance, and audit-readiness requirements.
- Manage validation activities and dependency mapping to minimize operational and compliance risks during decommissioning.
- Coordinate stakeholder readiness across Lab Operations, Quality, and IT teams.
- Drive controlled system retirement, formal decommissioning, and stakeholder sign-off.
- Leverage global LIMS implementation experience to standardize transition approaches and mitigate site-specific risks.

SampleManager Site Fulfilment & Adoption

- Lead site-level fulfilment plans required for SampleManager to fully replace legacy laboratory systems.
- Identify, prioritize, and drive closure of critical functional and integration gaps.
- Coordinate gaps related to SAP integration, instrument connectivity, Laboratory Execution Systems (LES), and MLP specifications.
- Manage deployment readiness and site onboarding sequencing across participating locations.
- Drive adoption and utilization of SampleManager across sites.




- Track SampleManager adoption against legacy-system retirement targets.
- Coordinate legacy-system retirement in alignment with fulfilment milestones and business readiness.

End-to-End Project Management

- Own project delivery from project intake and charter through requirements, build coordination, testing, validation, deployment, and hypercare.
- Define and control project scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans.
- Manage project changes through formal change-control processes.
- Drive execution against agreed IT and business delivery targets.
- Identify and escalate risks that may impact timelines, operations, or compliance.

Project Governance & Stakeholder Management

- Establish and manage project governance, including RAID logs, action tracking, status reporting, steering forums, and decision logs.
- Act as the primary point of accountability for cross-functional project execution.
- Coordinate stakeholders across Lab Operations, Quality/Validation, IT, vendors, and business teams.
- Manage trade-offs involving scope, cost, timelines, risk, and compliance.
- Ensure key decisions, approvals,



and project actions are properly documented.

Requirements, Testing & Validation

- Facilitate requirements workshops with laboratory, business, and quality stakeholders.
- Define clear requirements, acceptance criteria, and traceability.
- Coordinate UAT, regression testing, validation testing, and data-migration validation activities.
- Ensure validation evidence and project documentation are complete and audit-ready.
- Ensure project deliverables align with GxP, data integrity, CSV/CSA, and applicable requirements such as 21 CFR Part 11 and ISO 17025, where applicable.

Operational Readiness & Adoption

- Own cutover planning, training coordination, SOP/work-instruction updates, and go-live readiness activities.
- Establish readiness gates for site deployments and transitions.
- Ensure effective handover to application support and IT operations teams.
- Define escalation paths and hypercare plans with measurable stabilization targets.
- Monitor post-release metrics and drive continuous improvement based on incidents, cycle times, and adoption feedback.

Global & Vendor Management

- Drive project execution across global sites, including EU and other international locations.
- Align site-specific requirements with global SampleManager roadmaps and standards.
- Coordinate internal and external resources across project workstreams.
- Manage vendor milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
- Support vendor governance, SOW execution, and acceptance testing.
