Department: Supply Chain / Warehouse

Qualification: B.Sc. / B.Tech (Food Tech / SCM)

Experience: 3-7 Years in Food Manufacturing / Ingredients

Reports To: Supply Chain Manager / Plant Head

Role Purpose

Manages end-to-end stock of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods across the food ingredients supply chain, ensuring optimal stock levels, FEFO/FIFO compliance, minimal wastage, and accurate ERP tracking.

Key Responsibilities

- Inventory Control & Auditing: Enforce FEFO/FIFO protocols, maintain reorder levels, and conduct cycle counts, spot checks, and audits to reconcile stock variances.
- Coordinate with the warehouse and arrange all documents. Handle software on a daily basis and verify dispatches.
- Audit the warehouse on a monthly basis. Ability to manage a team.
- Warehouse & Food Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000, and allergen management standards during receiving, zoning, and storage.
- ERP & Traceability Management:



Update ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally) in real time for receipts, issues, and transfers; maintain batch/lot traceability.
- Planning & Coordination: Forecast raw material needs based on production schedules to prevent stockouts or overstocking; align with purchasing and QA/QC.
- Reporting & Performance Tracking: Prepare MIS reports on stock status, turnover ratios, and near-expiry items.

Key Skills & Requirements

- Technical Skills: ERP/WMS proficiency Tally, Food Safety Standards (FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000), Advanced Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, Dashboards)/ Google Sheets.
- Core Competencies: Inventory accounting & reconciliation, warehouse management, 5S practices, batch traceability, and expiry management.
- Behavioural Skills: High attention to detail, analytical mindset, cross-functional coordination, problem-solving, and team leadership.
