Role & responsibilities

- Develop interior design concepts, layouts, and space plans for residential and commercial properties.
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings, 3D views, furniture layouts, ceiling plans, electrical layouts, and working drawings.
- Understand client requirements, lifestyle preferences, budget, and functional needs and convert them into practical design solutions.
- Create attractive and functional designs for apartments, villas, offices, showrooms, sample flats, and common areas.
- Select appropriate materials, furniture, fixtures, lighting, colors, finishes, and accessories as per project requirements.
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities), material specifications, and cost estimates for interior work.
- Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, contractors, vendors, site teams, and project managers to ensure proper execution of designs.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Identify design or execution issues at site and provide practical solutions in coordination with the project team.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors regarding material selection, quotations, measurements, and installation.
- Ensure that projects are completed within the approved design, quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
- Prepare and maintain project-related design documents, drawings, revisions, material samples, and approvals.
- Assist the sales and marketing team in designing sample flats,



showrooms, sales offices, and project presentation areas.
- Keep updated with current interior design trends, materials, finishes, furniture, and construction techniques.
- Ensure proper quality standards and attention to detail throughout the project.
- Perform other design and project-related responsibilities assigned by management.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 14 years of relevant experience in Interior Design, Real Estate, Architecture, Construction, or Projects.
- Strong knowledge of space planning, furniture layouts, materials, finishes, lighting, and interior execution.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Revit, Photoshop, or similar design software.
- Valuable knowledge of BOQ, estimation, material costing, and site execution.
- Strong creativity with good practical and technical understanding.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work with clients, contractors, vendors, architects, and site teams.
- Good understanding of measurements, drawings, and construction details.
- Should be willing to travel to project sites as required.
