- The Senior Instructional Designer is a practitioner responsible for independently designing and developing high-quality learning solutions. This role requires a solid command of instructional design methodology, content development, and technical execution to produce learning materials that meet rigorous quality standards.
- The individual will work with greater autonomy on complex projects, apply AI-assisted workflows, and demonstrate an emerging awareness of quality, consulting, and ecosystem topics.
- This position serves as a critical execution anchor on project teams and is a stepping stone toward a Learning Experience Architect path.
- Daily tasks may include designing learning solutions, building storyboards, incorporating SME feedback, conducting QA, applying AI tools for content drafting, and participating in needs analysis conversations.
- Read briefs and source material, identify what a module needs to cover, and flag gaps before you start building.

- Build modules in Storyline or Rise screens, interactions,



branching, visuals and test your own work before it goes to review.
- Write and revise video scripts for motion-based learning content.
- Use AI tools to get a faster first draft of content or scripts, then edit until it's accurate and reads right.
- Self-check your work against a quality checklist, incorporate reviewer feedback, and document what changed and why.
- Sit in on kick-offs or client review calls with senior team members to learn how work gets scoped
