Online Payment

Gateway is Paytm’s B2B Business regulated by RBI as it allows only authorized entities to conduct PA PG (Payment Aggregator Payment Gateway) business. This team is responsible for growing the penetration of Paytm’s PA PG business in the Indian merchants.

About the role

The Pre-Sales KAM will be responsible for generating qualified leads for Paytm Payment Gateway from a targeted merchant universe and supporting the sales team in converting these opportunities into active merchants. The role requires identifying the right decision makers,



positioning Paytm’s payment capabilities, and driving early stage engagement before handing over opportunities for closure.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting

- Build and work on a targeted merchant list across priority sectors to generate Payment

Gateway leads.Identify and connect with decision makers such as Founders, CFOs, CTOs,

and Payments/Partnership teams.

- Initiate outreach through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and industry networks to create new opportunities.
- Qualify merchant requirements and convert them into sales-ready PG leads.

Merchant Engagement & Solution Pitching

● Present Paytm’s Payment Gateway capabilities, checkout solutions, and payment modes to prospective merchants.

● Conduct product demos and capability walkthroughs for merchant business and tech teams by taking help from Paytm product team

● Understand merchant payment flows and recommend relevant Paytm payment solutions.

Sales Support & Conversion

● Work closely with the New Acquisition / Sales team to support merchant pitches and deal discussions.

● Share structured merchant insights to help accelerate conversion

Integration & Solutioning Support

● Explain PG integration process, APIs, SDKs, and checkout flows to merchant technical teams.

● Coordinate with product, tech, and onboarding teams during the pre-integration stage.

Key Skills & Experience

● 2–4 years of experience in Pre-Sales, Payment Solutions, Fintech, or SaaS sales support roles.

● Good understanding of B2B sales pitch

● B.Tech in Computer Science or an MBA is required.

● Robust lead generation, merchant engagement, and solution pitching skills.

● Ability to interact with both business stakeholders and technical teams.

● Strong communication and presentation skills.

● Qualified PG leads generated from targeted merchant list

● Conversion support for new PG merchant onboarding

● Quality of merchant engagement and pipeline management
