Experience: 1-2 Years (Network Engineering, IT Support, Desktop Support, or Infrastructure Support)
Location: Indore (on-site)
(A) Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, desktop, LAN, and network-related issues.
- Perform installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues involving LAN, switches, cables, ports, and network devices.
- Install, terminate, and troubleshoot LAN/network cables (RJ45).
- Prepare LAN cables and perform basic cable testing using appropriate network testing tools.
- Perform basic configuration and troubleshooting of network switches.
- Understand and troubleshoot common network ports and services such as HTTP/HTTPS, RDP, DNS, DHCP, FTP, SMTP, and other commonly used ports.
- Troubleshoot issues related to IP addressing, subnetting, gateway, DNS, and DHCP.
- Provide desktop support to end users, including Windows OS, software, peripheral, and connectivity issues.
- Perform basic installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows Server environments.
- Assist with user account, shared folder, printer, and basic Windows Server-related support.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot CCTV/IP camera systems, particularly Hikvision and CP Plus.
- Troubleshoot camera connectivity, IP configuration, NVR/DVR connectivity, and basic CCTV network-related issues.
- Monitor network and hardware health and escalate complex issues to the appropriate team.
- Maintain proper documentation of incidents, troubleshooting activities, and IT assets.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware, network, and CCTV-related issues when required.
- Follow standard IT support and troubleshooting procedures to ensure timely resolution of incidents.
(B) Required Technical Skills:
1) Networking
- Good understanding of basic networking concepts.
- Knowledge of LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, IP addressing, subnetting, DNS, and DHCP.
- Good understanding of network switches and their basic configuration.
- Knowledge of network ports and commonly used services.
- Ability to troubleshoot LAN and network connectivity issues.
- Positive knowledge of network cables, connectors, and cabling standards.
- Hands-on experience in making and terminating RJ45/LAN cables.
- Knowledge of network cable testing and fault identification.
2) Hardware & Desktop Support
- Good Hardware troubleshooting skills.
- Troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, printers, monitors, and other peripherals.
- Basic knowledge of motherboard, RAM, HDD/SSD, SMPS, power-related issues, etc.
- Installation and troubleshooting of Windows operating systems.
- Good desktop and end-user support skills.
3) Windows Server
- Basic knowledge of Windows Server.
- Understanding of basic server services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and file sharing will be an advantage.
- Basic user and system administration knowledge.
4) CCTV / Surveillance
- Basic to good knowledge of Hikvision and CP Plus CCTV/IP camera systems.
- Knowledge of NVR/DVR and IP camera connectivity.
- Ability to troubleshoot CCTV network and connectivity issues.
- Understanding of IP addressing and network configuration for CCTV devices.
(C) Required Soft Skills:

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
