Job Purpose

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical/MEP Engineer to oversee and manage facility maintenance, utility operations, and engineering projects at our Shamirpet facility. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in HVAC, cleanrooms, and critical utilities, ensuring seamless operational uptime while strictly adhering to safety and regulatory compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

- MEP & Building Systems Management: Maintain strong operational knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), Fire Life Safety (FLS), and integrated building systems to ensure continuous, safe facility operations.
- HVAC & Cleanroom Troubleshooting: Drive routine maintenance and rapid troubleshooting for complex HVAC systems, including central chillers, Air Handling Units (AHUs), cleanroom HVAC environments, and cold rooms.
- Utility Operations: Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of critical plant utilities, including air compressors, nitrogen plants, and water systems.
- Project Execution: Lead and execute facility engineering projects, including the renovation, expansion,



or modification of existing infrastructure from conception to commissioning.
- Technical Engineering Support: Read and interpret complex construction drawings, building layouts, and equipment product data sheets to resolve technical issues with minimal supervision.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure a culture of safety by identifying, selecting, and enforcing the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) across all maintenance activities.
- Documentation & Administration: Maintain accurate engineering logs, equipment histories, and maintenance records using MS Office and dedicated data entry systems.
- Collaboration & Communication: Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams, external contractors, and vendors to ensure projects and maintenance tasks are completed on time.

Required Technical Skills & Competencies

- Robust hands-on troubleshooting exposure to cleanrooms and controlled environments (highly preferred).
- Proactive problem-solving abilities to diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Clear, effective written and oral communication skills for reporting and inter-departmental alignment.
- High attention to detail with a structured approach to preventive maintenance schedules.
