Role: HR Operations Generalist
About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented HR Operations Generalist to manage and support end-to-end HR operations. The role will be responsible for maintaining employee records, onboarding and offboarding, attendance and leave management, HR documentation, employee engagement, compliance coordination, and day-to-day HR administration.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication and coordination skills, a good understanding of HR processes, and the ability to independently manage multiple HR activities while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities1. HR Operations & Administration
Manage day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle activities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
Prepare and maintain HR-related documents, letters, forms, and records.
Ensure proper documentation and filing of employee information.
Coordinate with employees and management for routine HR-related requirements.
Develop and maintain HR trackers, MIS reports, and operational records.
- Recruitment & Joining Formalities
Coordinate with candidates throughout the recruitment and selection process.
Schedule interviews and coordinate with hiring managers.
Collect and verify candidate documents for further processing.
Prepare and coordinate issuance of Offer Letters, LOIs, Appointment Letters, and other employment documents.
Manage pre-joining and joining formalities.
Ensure completion of employee documentation and onboarding checklists.
- Employee Onboarding & Offboarding
Conduct and coordinate smooth employee onboarding.
Explain company policies, employment terms, probation, notice period, and HR processes.
Coordinate employee ID creation and other joining formalities.
Manage resignation, exit formalities, clearance, and full & final coordination.
Maintain proper records of employee separation documentation.
- Attendance, Leave & Payroll Coordination
Monitor and maintain employee attendance and leave records.
Prepare attendance reports and monthly payroll inputs.
Coordinate with management/accounts for salary, stipend, deductions, and payroll-related information.
Identify attendance discrepancies and coordinate for timely resolution.
Maintain accurate records of leave, late marks, absences, and working days.
- Employee Relations
Act as a point of contact for employees regarding routine HR queries.
Support resolution of employee concerns and workplace issues.
Maintain professional communication with employees across departments.
Assist in employee engagement initiatives and internal HR activities.
Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
- HR Policies & Compliance
Support implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.
Ensure employees are aware of applicable HR policies and processes.
Maintain statutory and compliance-related HR records in coordination with the concerned team.
Support internal HR audits and documentation requirements.
Ensure HR processes are followed consistently across the organization.
- HR MIS & Reporting
Prepare regular HR reports and management dashboards.
Maintain employee master data and HR trackers.
Prepare reports related to headcount, attendance, leave, recruitment, attrition, onboarding, and exits.
Provide accurate HR data and reports to management whenever required.
Key Performance Areas (KPIs)
Accuracy and timely maintenance of employee records.
Timely completion of onboarding and exit formalities.
Accuracy of attendance and payroll inputs.
Timely resolution of employee HR queries.
Compliance with HR processes and documentation requirements.
Accuracy and timeliness of HR MIS and reports.
Effective coordination between employees, management, and other departments.
Overall efficiency of day-to-day HR operations.
Required Skills & Competencies

Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
MBA/PGDM in Human Resources will be an added advantage.
Experience
1–3 years of relevant experience in HR Operations / HR Generalist / HR Administration.
Candidates with hands-on experience in recruitment coordination, onboarding, employee documentation, attendance, payroll coordination, and HR administration will be preferred.
