About the Role
We are looking for a responsible, hardworking, and reliable Housekeeper / Resident Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and overall housekeeping standards at our Multiple Sports Academy facilities.
The ideal candidate should be disciplined, physically fit, attentive to cleanliness and comfortable working in a sports academy environment with athletes, coaches, staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the academy premises, including rooms, offices, common areas, corridors and other assigned areas.
- Clean and maintain washrooms, changing rooms, dormitories, residential areas, and staff accommodation.
- Sweep, mop, dust, wash, sanitize, and disinfect assigned areas regularly.
- Ensure proper cleanliness and hygiene of sports-related common areas and facilities.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of residential/accommodation areas.
- Collect and dispose of waste in designated areas and follow proper waste-management practices.
- Refill toiletries, cleaning supplies, and other housekeeping essentials as required.
- Maintain cleanliness of furniture, fixtures, windows, doors, and other assigned areas or equipment.
- Ensure adequate availability of housekeeping materials and inform the concerned supervisor when supplies need replenishment.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, repairs, safety concerns, or hygiene-related issues to the concerned supervisor.
- Assist with housekeeping requirements for athletes, residents, staff, or visitors as assigned.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness before, during, and after sports events, camps, tournaments, and academy activities.
- Follow proper safety, hygiene,
and cleaning procedures while handling cleaning materials and equipment.
- Follow the academy's rules and regulations, particularly with regard to residential and accommodation areas.
- Maintain discipline, privacy, and confidentiality within the residential premises.
- Ensure the residential premises are clean, safe, organized, and properly maintained at all times.
- Maintain a clean, secure, hygienic, and welcoming environment for students, athletes, coaches, staff, parents, and visitors.
- Perform any other housekeeping or related duties assigned by the Management/Supervisor.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping, facility cleaning, hotel housekeeping, hostel housekeeping, residential housekeeping or a similar role will be preferred.
- Freshers may also be considered based on suitability.
- Basic understanding of cleanliness, sanitation and hygiene practices.
- Physically fit and capable of performing housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Honest, punctual, disciplined and responsible.
- Valuable work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain academy standards.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and during sports events when required.
