Key Responsibilities

Quality Management

- Lead end-to-end quality assurance and quality control functions for sheet metal components.
- Develop and implement quality policies, procedures, and process controls across manufacturing operations.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, customer-specific requirements, and statutory regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to achieve zero-defect manufacturing.

Customer Quality Management
- Act as the primary interface for customer quality-related concerns.
- Handle customer complaints, warranty issues, and quality escalations.
- Lead problem-solving activities using 8D, Why-Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagram, and other quality tools.
- Ensure timely closure of customer concerns and corrective actions.

Process Quality & Manufacturing Excellence
- Monitor and improve quality performance in blanking, stamping, deep drawing, welding, fabrication, assembly, and surface treatment processes.




- Establish process controls and quality checkpoints throughout production.
- Lead PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Audits, and Layered Process Audits (LPA).
- Drive reduction in rejection, rework, and customer PPM levels.

Supplier Quality Management
- Collaborate with suppliers to improve incoming material quality.
- Conduct supplier audits and supplier performance evaluations.
- Implement Supplier Quality Improvement Programs and corrective actions.

Quality Systems & Audits
- Ensure effective implementation of APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA, and other automotive core tools.
- Lead customer audits, certification audits, and internal quality audits.
- Maintain readiness for external audits and customer assessments.

Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor quality engineers, inspectors, and quality managers.
- Build a culture of quality awareness and accountability.
- Conduct skill development and competency enhancement programs for quality teams.

- Press Shop Operations
- Fabrication
- Welding
- Automotive Sheet Metal Components
