We are looking for an experienced and highly responsible Head Operations to take complete ownership of the smooth functioning, execution and operational performance across the organisations diverse business verticals, including Hospitality, Construction and Security Services.

The role requires a strong hands-on operations leader who can independently manage day-to-day functioning, coordinate with internal teams, appoint and manage specialised external agencies and service providers, monitor quality and timelines, control operational costs, and ensure that all activities are executed efficiently and professionally.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that every operational requirementwhether related to facility maintenance, electrical work, equipment servicing, repairs, technical services, construction activities, hospitality operations or security servicesis properly planned, assigned to the appropriate agency/vendor, monitored and brought to successful closure.

Role & responsibilities

1. Overall Operations & Execution

- Take complete ownership of the end-to-end operational functioning across all business verticals.
- Plan, coordinate, supervise and monitor all operational activities to ensure smooth and uninterrupted functioning.
- Convert management decisions and requirements into effective ground-level execution.
- Establish and monitor operational processes, SOPs, timelines and service standards.
- Identify operational gaps, bottlenecks and recurring issues and ensure timely corrective action.
- Ensure that all assigned activities are properly followed up and completed within defined timelines.
- Take independent decisions on routine operational matters and escalate only critical issues requiring management intervention.
- Maintain strong coordination between departments, agencies, contractors, vendors and management.

2. Agency & Vendor Management

- Identify, evaluate and appoint appropriate specialised agencies, contractors and service providers for various operational requirements.
- Develop a reliable network of agencies for:

- Electrical works and maintenance
- Equipment installation, servicing and AMC
- Air-conditioning and HVAC maintenance

- Plumbing and civil maintenance
- Kitchen and restaurant equipment servicing
- Lift and other technical equipment maintenance
- Fire and safety equipment maintenance
- Pest control and housekeeping-related services
- IT/technical infrastructure support wherever required
- Construction and repair-related works
- Other specialised operational and technical requirements
- Obtain and compare quotations, assess service capability and negotiate commercial terms wherever required.
- Ensure that appointed agencies deliver work as per agreed scope, quality, cost and timelines.
- Monitor agency performance and take corrective action in case of delays, poor quality or non-compliance.




- Maintain proper records of agencies, contracts, AMCs, quotations, work orders and service history.
- Regularly review agency performance and replace or appoint alternate agencies wherever necessary.

3. Multi-Vertical Operations Management

- Oversee the operational functioning of restaurants, banquet operations, construction activities and security services as an integrated business operation.
- Ensure that operational requirements of different verticals are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Coordinate with chefs, restaurant/service teams, banquet teams, engineers, contractors, security teams, vendors and external agencies.
- Conduct regular inspections and operational reviews across different sites and business verticals.
- Ensure timely resolution of operational issues affecting customer service, business continuity, infrastructure or service quality.

4. Maintenance & Facility Operations

- Take responsibility for ensuring proper maintenance and functioning of equipment, machinery, electrical systems, infrastructure and other operational assets.
- Establish preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely servicing through authorised or competent agencies.
- Monitor AMC arrangements and ensure services are provided within agreed timelines.
- Ensure breakdowns, repairs and maintenance issues are attended to promptly.
- Maintain records of recurring breakdowns, maintenance costs and service performance.
- Identify opportunities to reduce downtime, repair costs and unnecessary expenditure.

5. Construction & Project Coordination

- Monitor construction, renovation, repair and development activities from an operational perspective.
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, architects, consultants and specialised agencies.
- Ensure work is executed according to approved specifications, quality standards, timelines and budgets.
- Monitor progress at sites and ensure timely resolution of construction-related issues.
- Verify completion of work before final closure/payment recommendations.
- Ensure proper coordination between civil, electrical, plumbing, interior and other specialised agencies.

6. Hospitality Operations

- Ensure smooth operational functioning of multicuisine restaurant, authentic thali restaurant and banquet operations.
- Monitor service standards, food quality, hygiene, maintenance, customer experience and overall operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with restaurant, kitchen, banquet, maintenance and external service agencies.




- Ensure equipment and facilities remain operational and properly maintained.
- Monitor operational issues and ensure immediate corrective action.
- Support management in improving service quality, operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

7. Security Services Operations

- Oversee the overall operational performance of security service activities.
- Monitor service quality, discipline, adherence to client requirements and compliance with agreed service standards.
- Coordinate with security supervisors, clients and relevant service partners.
- Conduct regular operational reviews and inspections.
- Ensure client concerns and operational deficiencies are addressed promptly.
- Maintain strong client relationships from an operational perspective.

8. Quality, Compliance & Risk Management

- Ensure adherence to organisational SOPs, policies, contractual commitments and applicable statutory requirements.
- Conduct regular operational inspections and audits.
- Identify operational, safety, service and financial risks.
- Ensure corrective and preventive measures are implemented.
- Maintain proper documentation relating to agencies, maintenance, contracts, work orders and operational activities.

9. Cost Control & Commercial Management

- Monitor operational expenditure and ensure optimum utilisation of resources.
- Compare quotations and negotiate with agencies and vendors to obtain commercially competitive rates.
- Prevent unnecessary expenditure, wastage, leakages and duplication of services.
- Review recurring maintenance and service costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Ensure that agency bills and service payments are supported by proper work completion and service records.

10. Performance Monitoring & MIS

- Conduct regular reviews of ongoing operational activities, pending works and agency performance.
- Maintain a consolidated tracker of:

- Pending maintenance works

- Agency assignments

- AMC renewals

- Construction/repair activities

- Complaints and breakdowns

- Work completion timelines

- Vendor/agency performance

- Operational costs
- Submit regular operational reports and updates to Senior Management.
- Ensure that no operational issue remains unattended or unnecessarily pending.

Preferred candidate profile

- Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM or relevant professional qualification will be an advantage.
- 3-8 years of relevant experience in operations management, preferably in organisations having multiple business verticals.
- Experience in handling hospitality, construction, facility management, security services or other service-oriented businesses will be preferred.
- Robust experience in vendor, contractor, agency and service-provider management is essential.
- Candidates with experience in managing multiple sites and diverse operational functions will be preferred.
