Role: Head Investor Relations & Corporate Development

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

About The Role: The Head – Investor Relations & Corporate Development will work closely with the CFO, Founders and senior leadership to drive investor engagement, corporate development, strategic initiatives, and business performance. The role will act as a key interface between investors, leadership, Finance, and other stakeholders, while supporting fundraising (equity and debt), M&A;, strategic investments, and high-impact business initiatives.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Investor Relations:

● Own relationships and engagement with existing and prospective investors, shareholders, and financial stakeholders.

● Lead preparation of investor updates, board materials, investor presentations, MIS, and performance reports.

● Develop and communicate LEAD’s business narrative, growth drivers, financial performance, and key metrics.

● Track investor feedback, industry trends, competitor performance, and valuation benchmarks.

● Maintain investor databases, sector intelligence, and investor communication repositories.

Corporate Development & Strategy

● Support CFO, Founders and leadership on strategic planning, M&A;, investments, partnerships, and inorganic growth opportunities.

● Identify and evaluate potential acquisition, investment, and strategic partnership opportunities.

● Conduct market, sector, competitor, commercial, and financial analysis to support strategic decisions.

● Support due diligence, transaction evaluation, and preparation of investment/management presentations.

● Build financial models, business cases, and valuation analyses including DCF, comparable companies, and precedent transactions.

Fundraising & Strategic Projects

● Support fundraising and capital-raising initiatives, including investor decks, financial models,



projections, data rooms, and transaction materials.

● Work closely with Finance, Legal, bankers, investors, and other external advisors on strategic transactions.

● Drive high-priority Founder’s Office projects from analysis through execution.

● Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of strategic initiatives.

● Translate complex financial and business information into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership.

EXPERIENCE

● Educational Background: MBA/PGDM from a reputed Tier-1 institute, preferably Finance, Strategy, or related discipline.

● Professional Experience: 6–10 years of experience in Investor Relations, Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, PE/VC, or similar roles.

● Experience working with Founders, CXOs, investors, or Board-level stakeholders.

● Strong exposure to financial modelling, valuation, fundraising, M&A;, or strategic investments preferred.

● Experience in a high-growth Technology/EdTech/New-age organisation is an advantage.
