Industry Focus: Renewable IPP (Solar, Wind, Hybrid, BESS, Green Hydrogen, EV Infra)

? Role Overview The Business Development Head will drive growth in the renewable IPP sector, translating corporate vision into actionable strategies, expanding markets, and cultivating high‑value institutional partnerships.

? Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Market Expansion – Identify and penetrate current renewable IPP markets (solar, wind, hybrid, hydrogen, EV infra).
- Client Acquisition – Build and manage relationships with PSUs, C&I; clients, and global investors.
- Revenue Growth – Deliver aggressive top‑line growth through long‑cycle project sales and IPP partnerships.
- Contracts & Negotiations – Lead high‑value deal structuring, PPAs, EPC contracts, and strategic alliances.
- Leadership – Mentor and manage a high‑performing BD team.
- Policy & Regulatory Alignment – Track national/state renewable policies, tenders, and incentives.

? Candidate Profile
- Experience: 15–20 years in B2B industrial/renewable sales; minimum 5 years in senior leadership.




- Domain Expertise: Renewable IPP, EPC, energy storage, hydrogen, or EV infrastructure.
- Track Record: Proven success in managing large portfolios (500+ MW), closing high‑value deals, and scaling BD operations.
- Skills: Strategic planning, key account management, techno‑commercial negotiations, stakeholder engagement.
- Education: B.E./B.Tech (Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical); MBA/PG in Energy/Business Management preferred.

? Success Metrics
- Expansion of renewable IPP portfolio in Gujarat and pan‑India.
- Securing long‑term PPAs and strategic partnerships.
- Achieving revenue targets aligned with corporate growth plans.
- Building a sustainable BD pipeline across solar, wind, hybrid, and hydrogen projects.

? Compensation & Benefits
- CTC: ₹70–80 LPA (fixed + performance incentives).
