The Head Land Acquisition is responsible for providing strategic leadership and overall governance for land acquisition, land management, and support forest diversion activities for business growth and project development in the Gadchiroli region. The role is accountable for ensuring timely availability of land and statutory clearances, driving compliance with applicable land, forest, and environmental regulations, fostering effective partnerships with government authorities and key stakeholders, and proactively managing land-related risks to enable seamless and sustainable project execution.

Lead the overall Land Acquisition strategy and support forest diversion for projects and business expansion initiatives in Gadchiroli.

2.

Drive timely identification, acquisition, and availability of land required for future development projects and infrastructure.

3.

Oversee end-to-end land acquisition processes, including compensation, possession, and land records management.

4.

Ensure forest diversion approvals and other statutory clearances through effective engagement with relevant authorities.

5.

Build and strengthen strategic relationships with Government Authorities, Forest Department, Revenue Officials, and District Administration to facilitate project execution.

6.





Ensure compliance with all applicable Land, Forest, Revenue, Mining, and Environmental regulations.

7.

Engage with local communities, landowners, and other key stakeholders to foster a constructive operating environment.

8.

Drive cost optimization initiatives and risk mitigation strategies related to land acquisition, statutory approvals, and forest diversion activities.

Educational qualifications

Graduate in any discipline with degree in law.

Relevant experience

(Type/ Nature and years of relevant experience required to execute the role)

Experience in revenue, land management, land purchase and land acquisition will be given preference.

Knowledge of Marathi language (Reading/ writing/speaking) is preferred

Threshold skills and capabilities required to execute the role

Technical

- Experience of dealing with welfare measures, stakeholder management. Should be having very good knowledge of land related regulations, MIDC Act, FC Act, PESA Act, Forest Rights Act, LARR Act
