Role Overview The Head HR will lead the overall HR function of the hospital, ensuring effective manpower planning, recruitment, employee relations, HR operations, statutory compliance, performance management and employee engagement. The role will work closely with the Unit Head and departmental leadership to drive workforce productivity, discipline, retention and a skilled, service-oriented work culture.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the overall HR function and HR team.
- Partner with Unit Head and departmental heads on workforce and people-related matters.
- Manage manpower planning, recruitment, deployment, productivity and manpower costs.
- Oversee the complete employee lifecycle including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, disciplinary matters and separation.
- Manage employee relations, grievances, discipline and industrial relations, wherever applicable.
- Ensure implementation of HR policies, processes, HRMS/HRIS and governance standards.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Oversee payroll inputs, attendance, leave, overtime and employee records.




- Drive performance management, learning & development and succession planning.
- Lead employee engagement, communication, retention and work-culture initiatives.
- Monitor HR MIS, dashboards, analytics, attrition and workforce trends and provide management insights.

Key Success Measures Manpower availability and productivity, timely recruitment, manpower-cost control, employee relations, statutory compliance, HR operational accuracy, employee engagement and retention, quality of HR MIS and effectiveness of the HR team.

Candidate Profile

- MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent from a recognised institution.
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a hospital/healthcare or large service-sector organisation.
- Minimum 3 years in a HR leadership role with overall HR responsibility.
- Strong experience in HR operations, manpower management, recruitment, employee relations, disciplinary matters and statutory compliance.
- Experience managing diverse hospital/healthcare manpower is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in HRMS/HRIS and MS Office.
- Ability to manage a fast-paced hospital environment with multiple priorities.
- Willingness to be based in Deoghar, Jharkhand.
