Roles and Responsibilities :

- Pipeline Management: Drive the end-to-end R&D; project lifecycle from initial lab bench chemistry, development, stability and physicochemical characterization to pilot plant validation/Scale-up.

- Technology Transfer &
- Scale-Up:

Bridge the gap between lab-scale formulations and commercial production, trouble-shooting complex chemical or mechanical bottlenecks at commercial level.

- Cost Optimization &

- CAPEX:

Implement cost-reduction strategies, minimize raw material waste, include or replace current and cheaper raw materials for cost reduction, and execute capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects for factory expansions.

- Intellectual Property &

- Regulatory Support:

Build patent portfolios for proprietary technologies and supply data dossiers for product registrations and patent filings.

- EHS &

- Quality Governance:

Enforce absolute compliance with ISO standards,



Pollution Control Board (PCB) norms, and safety audits to meet 100% compliance.

- Team &

- Vendor Management:

Lead a team of scientists for vendor evaluation of raw materials, Vendor qualification for raw materials, packaging, and equipment’s.

Job Requirements :

- Education: Post-Graduate/Ph.D. in Chemistry/Pharmacy/Agricultural Chemistry/General Chemistry/Soil Science or related sciences.

- Experience: 18 - 20+ years of relevant industrial experience in pesticide/agrochemical formulation development and scale-up (EC, OD, SC, WP, WG etc).

- Essential Skills: Strong technical knowledge of inert compatibility, surfactants, process scale-up, cost budgeting, and regulatory support, registrations, analytical interpretations etc
